What deep cleaning covers
A deep clean is a full reset. Instead of maintaining surfaces, we work the places that build up quietly over months — grout lines, the tops of door frames, baseboards, cabinet fronts, the inside of the oven and refrigerator, vent covers, light fixtures and window sills.
It takes longer than a standard clean and it is priced accordingly, but it is the visit that makes every clean after it faster and better. Most clients book a deep clean once — before a party, after a long winter, at the start of a recurring schedule — and then move to routine visits.

What a deep clean includes
This is the working checklist. We confirm it with you at the quote stage and adjust it to your space before the first visit.
Kitchen
- Inside the oven, refrigerator and microwave
- Cabinet fronts degreased; interiors cleaned on request
- Backsplash and tile scrubbed, including grout lines
- Range hood, filter face and stovetop degreased
- Small appliances wiped, counters cleared and cleaned
- Under and behind moveable appliances where they can be safely reached
Bathrooms
- Tile and grout scrubbed in showers and on floors
- Soap scum and hard-water buildup removed from glass and chrome
- Shower heads and faucet aerators descaled
- Toilets cleaned including the base, hinges and behind the bowl
- Exhaust vent covers dusted and wiped
- Vanity interiors wiped on request
Detail work throughout
- Baseboards wiped by hand, not just dusted
- Door frames, doors and switch plates cleaned
- Window sills, tracks and interior glass
- Blinds and reachable light fixtures dusted
- Ceiling fan blades and air vent covers
- Cobwebs cleared from corners and ceiling edges
Floors & living areas
- Hard floors vacuumed, then mopped and edged
- Carpets and rugs vacuumed thoroughly, including edges
- Furniture dusted and polished where the finish allows
- Behind and under reachable furniture
- Stairs, railings and spindles cleaned
How we approach it
Scope agreed before we start
Deep cleaning is the service where scope matters most, so we go through it carefully at the quote stage — which rooms, whether appliance interiors and cabinet interiors are included, and anything you want left alone. You will know what is on the list before we start.
Have product preferences — unscented, something specific for a stone or wood finish, or something you would rather we never used? Note it in your quote request and we will go through it with you rather than guess.

Price depends on the size of the space, its current condition and how often you want us. We do not publish rates we have not measured against your space — tell us about it and we will give you a real number.

How is a deep clean different from a regular house clean?
A regular clean maintains the surfaces you use daily. A deep clean adds the built-up work underneath that — grout, baseboards, inside appliances, vents, light fixtures, window tracks and door frames. It is more hands-and-knees work and it takes longer.
How often should a home get a deep clean?
Most households do well with one or two a year, plus routine visits in between. Homes with pets, heavy cooking or lots of foot traffic tend to want them more often.
How long does a deep clean take?
Considerably longer than a standard clean — the exact time depends on the size and condition of the home. We give you an estimate with your quote so you can plan the day.
Do you clean inside the oven and refrigerator?
Yes, appliance interiors are part of a deep clean. If you would rather we skip one — a full refrigerator, for instance — just say so and we will adjust the scope and the quote.
Can you remove hard-water stains and soap scum?
Usually, yes — that is a large part of what a deep clean is for. Long-standing mineral etching on glass can be permanent, and if that is what we find we will tell you rather than promise a result we cannot deliver.
